Gongbei Port of Entry was awarded the National Public Security Law Enforcement Model by China's Ministry of Public Security in October this year, Nanfang Daily learned on Nov. 22.

Gongbei Port is one of the three awarded exit and entry management units.

From 2014 to October, 2016, Gongbei Port handled over 8,000 law and rule violation cases and played an important role in cracking down on exit and entry crimes and promoting justice and equity in society.
