Case Studies of China's Grain-for-Green Policy Published
Adjust font size:
A book offering detailed information on China's so-called grain-for-green plan - a key environmental conservation project aimed at improving western China's environment by converting more farmland to grassland and forest - was published by the Science Press recently.

Entitled "Case Studies of China's Grain-for-Green Policy," the book has been sponsored by Britain's Environmental Project Fund, the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) China Program Office and the State Forestry Administration. Many case studies have been done in several counties of Northwest China's Shaanxi Province and southwest China's Sichuan Province to gather first-hand information on the policy's implementation.
