The aerobatics show, which is planned to be staged by the famous aerobatics team with French Air Force, "Patrouille de France (PAF)", was canceled because of heavy fog in Beijing Thursday, organizers announced.

The team arrived in Beijing Tuesday as the prelude of French Culture Year which is scheduled to kick off Friday. The aerial stunt show has fanned an aerobatic craze in Beijing. Wednesday's warm-up training attracted tens of thousands of spectators. However, the low visibility forced the pilots to land after a few crossings, turns and change of formations. The shortened performance left many disappointed.

The troupe will also visit Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei Province, Zhuhai, a coastal city of south China's Guangdong Province, and Hong Kong.
