State Councilor Meets with Indian Guests

Chinese State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan met with J.N. Dixit, Indian National Security Advisor and special representative of India, for a meeting on the boundary issue, and his party in Beijing Thursday.

Tang asked Dixit to extend cordial regards of Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao to Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, and expressed Wen's expectation of the meeting of special representatives on the boundary issue.

Dixit also extended Singh's greetings to Wen.

The fourth meeting between Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Dai Bingguo and Dixit, special representatives of China and India respectively, was held in a candid, friendly and constructive atmosphere from November 18 to 19 in Beijing.

The two sides agreed to hold the next meeting in New Delhi, capital of India, and the specific time will be set through the diplomatic channels.
