China should coordinate domestic economic development and its opening-up endeavors in order to sharpen international competitiveness against a backdrop of globalization and sustained, rapid growth, according to the central economic conference.

 

The 3-day conference, which was attended by top officials and concluded on Sunday, agreed that foreign investment should be used wisely to upgrade technical innovation capability.

 

More Chinese enterprises will also be encouraged to go overseas and strengthen economic and technological cooperation with foreign partners, they said.
