One Dead, Two Missing in NW China Avalanche

Six tourists were caught in an avalanche on Saturday as they were sledding down a mountain at Ertanggou, Menyuan Hui Autonomous County, in northwest China's Qinghai Province.

Three survived the disaster and reported to local police, who launched a rescue operation with local people.

The body of one of the missing people was found early Sunday morning. Rescue teams are still attempting to find the other two.
