Hu Appoints New Ambassadors

President Hu Jintao appointed new ambassadors to four countries on Monday, in accordance with a decision made by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.

Zhang Xiyun was appointed ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan, replacing Zhou Xiaopei.

Geng Wenbing was appointed ambassador to the Republic of Seychelles, replacing Ms Chen Meifen.
 
Ms Zhang Jinfeng was appointed ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia, replacing Hu Qianwen.

Lu Shaye was appointed ambassador to the Republic of Senegal.
