A hundred housekeepers
from east China's Shandong Province received a warm welcome when
they arrived in the southern city of Shenzhen on Sunday. The women,
aged 25 to 51, will help meet the market's demand as most of the
city's housekeepers having started heading to their hometowns for
the Spring Festival. The arrival of the new housekeepers also marks
the start of a 3-year project designed to bring 10,000 domestic
helpers from Shandong to the city.
