Yes, recently www.wangpiao.com.cn, a new website selling movie
tickets, was launched. People who want to watch films don't have to
go to the cinema or wait in queues to buy tickets themselves. Now
the website service is available in four cities, Beijing, Shanghai,
Guangzhou and Wuhan.
How to buy tickets?
First, log on the website, fill in your name and password, then
choose the cinema you'd like to go to and pick the time and seat
you prefer. After you decide, you may choose the way you want to
receive the ticket, either by email or short message service. You
can pay online (most banks in China offer online payment services).
When you finish, the ticket will be sent to your email box or
mobile phone with all the necessary information.
People in Beijing and Guangzhou can even buy tickets with their
mobile phones.
You'll find an automatic machine in most cinemas. If you have
printed out your ticket from the Internet, just scan the code
number of the ticket through the machine and it will print a real
ticket that you can use to enter the cinema. You can also scan the
message sent to your mobile phone to claim your ticket. If that
doesn't work, just manually input the serial number of the ticket
into the machine.
Now, you'll get 10 percent off if you buy tickets on this
website.
The tickets are non-refundable and unchangeable once
purchased.
