Air France airline company increased fuel tax by 4 euros (US$5.2) per ticket of long-distance flight, according to a company press statement published on Thursday.
The surcharge, which is applied on air tickets sold in France since Thursday, will be dropped once the oil prices decreases to less than 60 U.S. dollars per barrel for 30 consecutive days, according to the statement.
The surcharge will be applied on return tickets with a cost of 8 euros and 4 euros for one-way tickets.
