The 7th China International Dye Industry, Pigments, Printing and
Dyeing Auxiliary Exhibition ("China Interdye 2007") will kick off
at INTEX Shanghai and Shanghaimart from April 17 to 19, according
to Shanghai International Exhibition Co., Ltd. (SIEC), the
organizer.
China Interdye was approved by the UFI board of directors in
March 2007, becoming the first UFI-approved professional exhibition
for the Dye Industry, Pigments, Printing and Dyeing Auxiliary in
China. Over 350 famous chemical enterprises from 15 countries and
regions, including about 10 Fortune 500 companies, are expected to
attend the event.
China has become the largest dyestuff producer, trader and
consumer, while China Interdye has evolved to be one of the world's
largest professional exhibitions. Statistics show that the previous
exhibition, held in April 2006, attract enterprise with 90 percent
of the world's total production, and nearly 40,000 visitors from
home and abroad.
The exhibition this year will cover an exhibition area of 18,000
square meters, including 6,000 square meters for overseas
exhibitors to showcase all kinds of dyeing materials,
intermediates, pigments, textiles, various dyeing auxiliaries and
supporting production facilities.
China Interdye 2007 is organized by the China Dyestuff Industry
Association (CDIA), the China Dyeing and Printing Association, the
China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the
Shanghai Sub-Council, the China Chamber of International Commerce,
the Shanghai Chamber of Commerce and the Shanghai World Expo Co.,
Ltd. It is undertaken by the Shanghai International
Exhibition Service Corporation. Meanwhile, related industry
associations will launch professional meetings during the
exhibition.
