Morocco's first international Tourism Salon will be held in the ochre city of Marrakech from January 17 to January 20 with the participation of 250 exhibitors.
The key objective of this universal event, which is jointly organized by the city's Regional Tourism Council (CRT) is to endow Morocco with its first professional Tourism Salon.
Organizers say the salon is important because it will fill the existing vacuum, namely the absence of a tourism fair capable of putting Moroccan tourism professionals in direct contact with their foreign counterparts.
The salon is also expected to serve as a lever for Morocco's tourism strategy, as it will encourage the development of North- South and South-South relations.
In this regard, national exhibitors from different sectors, including representative of government institutions, travel agencies, investors and banks, as well as international representatives such as European tours operators, North Americans and Asians tourism operators interested in Morocco as a tourist destination, and African and Middle East airline companies, are expected to take part in this event.
About 5,000 visitors from all over the world, as well as specialized media will grace this ambitious event.
