Hong Kong veteran actor, Tony Leung Chiu-wai celebrated his 45th birthday this Wednesday on the set of the epic war film "Red Cliff" where shooting is underway.

Instead of spending the occasion as usual with his mother, girlfriend Carina Lau, and his fans, this year he had to stay in Beijing with the "Red Cliff" entourage due to a tight filming schedule.

Mainland actress Dong Jie, who is part of the same agent company as Leung, visited him on set with a birthday cake.
