The founding meeting of the Xincheng Swimsuit Industry Association was held March 8 in Xincheng City, in Liaoning Province's Huludao Prefecture.

Li Haifeng, chief executive of Derong Clothing Company, was elected as the association's first chairman.

Wang Chong, secretary-general of Liaoning Garment Association, said the Xincheng Swimsuit Industry Association was formed to promote industrial reform, accelerate economic restructuring, and speed up the development of Xincheng's textile industry.

Shi Wenguang, deputy major of Xincheng City, Sun Zhihao, secretary of CPC Xincheng municipal committee, and over 90 managers from different swimsuit enterprises attended the meeting.
