Beijing-Zhengzhou high-speed railway to start service

A high-speed train bound for Guangzhou, capital of south China's Guangdong Province, is seen at the Zhengzhou East Railway Station in Zhengzhou, capital of central China's Henan Province, Dec. 18, 2012. The Beijing-Zhengzhou high-speed railway will start service on Dec. 26, connecting the functioning Zhengzhou-Wuhan and Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed railway to become the world's longest high-speed railway. The new station is the biggest high-speed railway marshalling station of central China as well as a comprehensive passenger tranportation hub incorporating high-speed railway, road transportation, intercity railway, subway and bus.
