Twelve years after his debut project "Spicy Love Soup", Chinese director Zhang Yang is again filming another love story.

"Wuren Jiashi", literally meaning "unmanned driving", is now being shot in Beijing.

Set in the contemporary Chinese capital, the film deals with the relationships of three groups of young men and women, who are connected by a car accident.

The cast includes popular idols Liu Ye, Gao Yuanyuan and Li Xiaoran, forming a classic love triangle.

The film aims to show the lifestyle attitudes of Chinese people born in the 1980s amid the hustle and bustle of contemporary metropolitan life and presents the image of a modern Beijing, the director told the Yangtze Evening News.

Filming of "Wuren Jiashi" is expected to end next month, with the release date set for next summer.
