What are college kids reading besides text messages? We hit up the Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) underground shopping street bookshop to get an idea of what's hot and what's not around campus.

Since 2007, despite its tucked away location the BFSU underground bookstore has been seeing better profits of late thanks to its student clientele, says owner Zhu Shuting.

"It's not easy to do business nowadays, but we're happy to run a small bookstore here, and students are easy to get along with." Zhu said.
