The Chinese comedy film "Welcome to Shama Town" will be released on June 22.
Shama is a fictional place in northwestern China. Legend has it robbers hide many treasures there. To improve the life of the villagers, Tang Gaopeng, the town head, decides to promote Shama as a robber-themed resort. He collects some old items from the villagers and takes them to an antique TV show. To his surprise, the show does not attract any tourists; however it does attract a group of illegal dealers.

Lead actor Sun Honglei says, "The film makes you laugh but also leaves you with a bit of sadness. It is also a very beautiful film. Its beauty cannot be explained in words. It is very difficult for a comedy to be beautiful. I am an objective person, so I won't say the film is the best, but I promise it is different, fresh and among the top of current Chinese films."
"Welcome to Shama Town" also stars Lin Chi-Ling.
