Taiwan actress Kwai Lun-Mei reckons her new film "The Stool Pigeon" is a landmark in her career.

Kwai, who is joined by Nicholas Tse and Nick Cheung in the Hong Kong crime thriller, plays the girlfriend of a gangster and says it is the first time she has tried an action role.
She previously co-starred with Jay Chou in the romance "Secret", and with Jet Li in the family drama "Ocean Heaven".
"The Stool Pigeon", directed by Dante Lam, follows the collaboration between an informer (Nicholas Tse) and a policeman (Nick Cheung).
It is slated for release on August 26.
