New Elegant Music inherits Chinese culture on stage

She added that her goal is to enhance harmony within every individual family, strengthen family cohesion and promote enduring harmony within families and then among the country.

"China is a country with traditions of manners and courtesy," Ha said. "I'd like to show foreigners that with my music, together with our traditional culture."

Graduating from the College of Art of the Chinese People's Liberation Army in 2000, Ha is a professional singer, performer and musician who specializes in Chinese classical music. She is also an associate professor at Minzu University of China. Her singing is widely recognized as featuring clear articulation, natural breathing and rich, strong tones, characterizing the quality of her voice.

Her composition "Courtesy" was chosen as one of the theme songs for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. She performed "Full Moon Tonight" at the closing ceremony of the games and was invited to sing for 2010 World Expo in Shanghai's opening ceremony in May.

"Helping audiences understand how important it is to carry on our traditions, Ha is an ambassador and teacher spreading Chinese traditional culture," commented Jiang Xiaoyu, vice chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference's Education, Science, Culture, Public Health and Sports Committee, after watching her performance in August.

After staging her concert in Israel, Ha said that she plans to tour in Germany, the US and other Western countries in the near future.
