Heavyweight film star Zhang Hanyu will provide the voiceover narration in Feng Xiaogang's upcoming New Year's movie "If You Are the One 2" ("Fei Cheng Wu Rao 2"), Ifeng.com reports.

"The Assembly" actor will only speak and not appear in the movie, which features several A-list actors such as Ge You and Shu Qi.

"As a sequel to a movie released in 2008, it has some connection with the previous one," said Wang Zhonglei, President of Huayi Brothers, the film's production company. "Zhang Hanyu's job will help set up the connection. The audience will hear Zhang's voice before the movie starts."

Zhang had starred in many of Feng's films including the war epic "The Assembly" which brought him instant fame. Before starring in movies, Zhang worked as a voice actor in many films, including "The Lord of the Rings" for Chinese moviegoers.
