Actor Deng Chao and Taiwan singer-actress Annie Yineng Jing attended a promotional event for the new film "Perfect Baby" in Shanghai, Monday afternoon, xinhuanet.com reports.
Deng who plays against Annie Yineng in the film made the best of his humorous qualities to add energy to the film.
In this lighthearted Sino-French urban romance co-production, Deng plays a Chinese student in Paris who gets himself involved in a love quadrangle when he unexpectedly becomes a dad after sperm donation.
Deng said shooting the film was a great experience, particularly staying with kids. His character transformed from a carefree boy into a real man, as did he himself, in order to win the trust of his little co-star.
In reality, Deng Chao's wife, Sun Li is currently expecting their first baby. When talking of becoming a father in real life, the actor said he felt more responsible, as well as excited.
"Perfect Baby" starring Jean-Baptiste Maunier, Deng Chao and Jane March, will hit screens on Chinese Valentine's Day in early August.
