Mickey Mouse & Donald Duck, created by Walt Disney, are cartoon characters who have become icons for the Walt Disney Company. They are famous among kids. Disney was born in Chicago in 1901. He began to make cartoons with great enthusiasm when he was 22. In his garage, he had a good friend--a tame mouse. He made it his first cartoon character, Mickey Mouse. Mickey was created in 1928, and then the silly and bad-tempered duck, Donald, came to life on paper. Children and adults alike enjoy watching the pair.
