News about actress Cecilia Cheung's personal life often hits the stands at light speed, but this time, news about her professional life came first.
A series of character posters have been released for the costume comedy film "The Lion Roars 2", in which Cheung is the lead actress.

The photos show Cheung donning a light violet shirt designed with a white, V-shaped neck opening. The shirt is one of Cheung's 33 costumes in the film.
Other actors, including Xiao Shen Yang and Victor Huang, are also featured in the photos.
"The Lion Roars 2" revolves around military strategist Zhuge Liang and his wife. Zhuge lived between the 2nd and 3rd century. Xiao Shen Yang and Cheung portray the couple.
Filming is underway by director Joe Ma. The film is slated to be released in theaters later this year.
While Cheung is working on her part in the film, tabloids have been exposing her troubled marriage since late May.
Cheung and her husband of five years, actor Nicholas Tse, are reportedly negotiating a divorce. After being absent from each other for two months, the couple met again on July 8. The media reported that they would discuss custody of their two sons, but results are yet to be revealed.
