The official website of the film “The Sorcerer and the White Snake” was launched and the online novel of the same was released, Yang Zi, producer of the moive announced on August 10 in Beijing.
Yang Zi, director Siu-Tung Ching, and lead actors Raymond Lin and Huang Shengyi attended the ceremony.
The official website has created a special world for goblins, complete with its own language. On the website, there are two different entrance portals named Human World and Goblin’s World, from which fans can appreciate the love between human and snake from two different angles.
The written words used in “Goblin’s World” are a departure from the human world, and are a unique invention of the website creators. Before the film’s premiere, the written words of goblins will be translated into human words. Yang Zi said that the novel is a little different from the film, but both have similar points.
The film is reported to be released in September.
