At a commercial event yesterday, the prestigious director and actor Jiang Wen revealed that he has another new movie project in the making before the shooting of "Let the Bullets Fly 3," mtime.com reports.

According to an insider, the reason for the director postponing the shooting of the sequel is that the construction of the set will take a long time. He said, "The new project will definitely be a blockbuster film."

Jiang refused to reveal more information about his latest work but he will attend the 48th Golden Horse Awards. His movie, "Let the Bullets Fly," received nine nominations at this year's event.

Asked whether he's confident this time about bringing the awards home, Jiang told the media, "A director is responsible for his movie; the audience takes charge of the box office results and evaluation. Whether I win an award or not is the judges' duty. I have nothing to worry about."

The insider also said the new movie will delve into the subjects of modern society. Some A-list stars will join the cast of the movie.
