Hollywood couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have welcomed their third child into the world.

Affleck confirmed on his facebook page that Garner had given birth to a healthy baby boy named Samuel Garner Affleck.

The couple already have two daughters - 6-year-old Violet and 3-year-old Serafina.

It's been a busy time for the couple.

Garner has two upcoming films including "The Odd Life of Timothy Green" about an extraordinary child that changes life of a couple who are unable to conceive.

Meanwhile Affleck is directing and starring in "Argo," a story about the CIA devising a fake film project as a cover story to extract six Americans from Iran during the hostage crisis in 1979.
