Mainland director Ning Hao has released posters of his latest film Guns and Roses, a black comedy revolving around a robbery.

Ning casts Huang Bo in a supporting role, while a practically unknown young actor named Lei Jiayin takes the lead.

Ning says the film is a comedy about youth, so he wanted to give young actors more opportunities.

Lei, 29, is a stage drama actor who has starred in several TV series and films. Ning's friend, veteran actor Xu Zheng, recommended Lei to Ning.

The film will premiere on April 24.
