'Million-Dollar Crocodile' premieres in Beijing

The film tells the story of an eight-meter-long crocodile on the rampage in Beijing.

According to Lin, the movie's special effects will offer viewers a vivid experience of the terrifying monster.

Taiwan actress Barbie Hsu and "Crazy Stone" star Guo Tao star in the film's leading roles.

Hsu plays a bride-to-be who goes after the crocodile after it eats her handbag, which contains 100,000 euros worth of wedding cash.

Guo, Hsu's onscreen lover, plays the character of Wang Dawei who attempts to protect the town from a deadly crocodile attack.

"Million-Dollar Crocodile" will open in mainland cinemas on June 8.
