A batch of still photos featuring Cecilia Cheung in the upcoming comedy "The Lion Roars 2" was released on chinesefilms.cn today.

The movie, starring Cheung and Xiao Shenyang, is set for release on August 17. It is the sequel to the 2002 comedy "The Lion Roars." Cheung played alongside Louis Koo and Fan Bingbing in the first movie.

Cheung continues her sassy girl style in the sequel. The famous crosstalk performer Xiao plays her husband.
