The restored "Slovenly Boy's Adventure" returned to mainland cinemas on August 17, Mtime.com reports.

The original animated series, "Slovenly Boy's Adventure", was created by the Shanghai Animation Film Studio and received wide acclaim throughout the nation.

Slovenly Boy plays the film's main character. The unhygienic kid is shrunk to the size of a rat and must take on the rat king who is trying to take down the human race.
