The 1st China Hengdian Film and Television Festival closed its curtains yesterday at Hengdian, Zhejiang Province, qq.com reports.
A host of celebrities including Hsui Hark, Zheng Xiaolong, Li Haiqiong, Michelle Ye, Ronald Cheng and Yu Dong attended the award ceremony.
The event's top awards are the Golden Bull Awards for Best Film, Best TV Series, Best Director, Best Actress and Best Actor.
Director Hsui Hark's "Flying Swords of the Dragon Gate 3D" took home the Best Film award; television series "Legend of Concubine Zhen Huan" won Best TV Series, and its director Zheng Xiaolong got the Best Director award. Zhang Jiayi and Luo Haiqiong garnered the Best Actor and Best Actress award, respectively.
The event will be held biennially in an effort to encourage and reward the excellent films and television series shot in Hengdian World Studio.
