Oscar-winning director Ang Lee appears likely to direct the historical epic "Cleopatra" starring Angelina Jolie after the Hollywood actress asked him to come on board.
Lee says he will read the script before making a decision, but adds that the project is "very attractive".
He says that Sony asked him to shoot the big-budget production, and will probably take it on because it's a rare opportunity.
The Taiwan-born director has returned to Taiwan over the weekend to celebrate after his "Life of Pi" earned 11 Oscar nominations.
Lee won Best Director Oscar in 2006 for "Brokeback Mountain".
