Chinese film "Up in the Wind" is set to hit Chinese screens before the New Year.

Directed by Teng Huatao, "Up in the Wind" stars Chinese actress Ni Ni and Jing Boran.

The film tells the story of a tour group that includes a food columnist played by Ni Ni, and a 'second-generation rich' person played by Jing Boran.

The pair travel to Nepal on vacation. The duo encounter power outages and local riots, which eventually brings them closer together.

Hua Chenyu, the winner of this year's Happy Boy's Voice - the Chiense equivalent of American Idol - has sung promotional songs for the film.

"Up in the Wind" is due to hit Theatres on December 31st across China.
