The 86th Annual Academy Awards will be getting going in a couple of hours.

Los Angeles was hit by torrential rain over the weekend which threatened to literally put a damper on OSCARS proceedings.
That has reportedly now eased up so an army of workers have taken the wraps off the 500 foot long red carpet and making last minute preparations.
The talk show host Ellen DeGeneres is hosting the entertainment industry's biggest night this year.
In 2013, 40.3 million U.S. viewers tuned in and it was broadcast in some 200 countries in all.
