The drama is the second of its kind to be dubbed into the Burmese language and broadcast in the country after Jin Tailang's Happy Life last year, another Chinese TV show.

Marriage Battle was released in China in 2010. This 33-episode modern drama depicts the lives of four couples, where the traditional roles of husband and wife have been put to the test, due to the pressures of modern day life.

The TV series will be broadcast every Wednesday in Myanmar as of March 26. It was translated and produced in the Burmese language by China Radio International with the help of Chinese dubbing director Liu Xueting and famous Myanmar actors and actresses.

Chinese TV dramas were one of the items in "Experience China", a large-scale cultural event launched by China's State Council Information Office in Myanmar this year. The event, running from March 26 to April 6, will be held in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar's capital, and Yangon, the country's largest city.

Since 1999, China's State Council Information Office has organized a series of cultural events across several countries, including Germany, France, Switzerland, the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Russia, South Korea, South Africa and Israel.

Named "Experience China," the events have been well received overseas. They have become an established part of China's cultural exchange program and provide a way for foreign audiences to understand and experience China in their own countries.
