About the film:

It's 1920 in Shanghai and a beauty pageant is in full swing. The results of the pageant, however, will not be up to the judges. The show is being manipulated by the wealthy to earn a profit, and when residents of the Shanghai Bund are invited to attend the pageant's finale, the unexpected changes everything.
