Brad Pitt was reportedly attacked on Wednesday evening at the Hollywood premiere of the film "Maleficent," which will be out at the end of this month.

According to The New York Post, a man punched Pitt in the face while he was posing for photographs and signing autographs on the red carpet.
After the security guards took the man away, Pitt kept greeting fans and walked into the El Capitan Theatre. Police said the man was arrested on suspicion of battery.
Pitt had been attending the event with his partner Angelina Jolie, who stars in the film, when the incident occurred.
