More than 30 superhero movies are slated to hit the big screen in the next six years.

The next big budget title that promises to be a blockbuster after the success of its predecessor is next year's "Avengers: Age of Ultron."
Marvel Comics has already unveiled its movie plans up to 2019, with "Ant Man" and the newest "Fantastic Four" joining "Age of Ultron" for a next-year release.
DC Comics is taking a break next year to finish up two huge titles in 2016; "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice," and "Suicide Squad," which will see the re-introduction of The Joker onto the big screen.
With many more titles planned for the years to come, both Marvel and DC are attempting to intertwine the plotlines of features to bring to the big screen the complex worlds evident in these titles comic pages.
