Written and directed by Daniel Lee, the film also stars American actors Adrien Brody and John Cusack.

The nearly two-minute video with Chinese subtitles shows images of epic battle scenes. The film depicts Roman soldiers moving through China during the Han Dynasty in 48 BC, but it is not considered historically accurate.

Chan plays Huo An, the commander of the Protection Squad in the western regions during the Han Dynasty.

It is reportedly the most expensive Chinese-language film ever produced.

"Dragon Blade" is set for release in IMAX 3D 19 February 19, the first day of the Chinese New Year holiday.
