Editor's note: An international contemporary ceramics exhibition kicked off in Quanzhou City in southern China's Fujian Province on July 20. The exhibition features porcelain works made by 28 artists from eight countries including the United States, Britain, Germany, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Japan and China. The artists gathered on July 10 in Dehua County, the place where Blanc de Chine, or white Chinese porcelain, is produced, and spent 12 days making porcelain works and discussing porcelain-making techniques.
