For years, white and black have dominated the runways and magazines of high fashion. Due to an age-old traditional culture that frowned on modeling as a profession, Chinese models struggled to break into the mainstream fashion industry.

Yet with China's booming middle class and growing appetite for luxury goods, an increasing number of Asian looks have flooded the market to become household names in international fashion circles, gaining a following all over the world.

Here are some Chinese supermodels that have graced the prestigious Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
