Disney has announced that its 3D animation 'Zootopia' will hit big screens in China on March 4th, in line with its release in North America.

Along with it, the film also unveils its Chinese poster and trailer.

In the trailer, audiences can get a first glimpse of the mammal metropolis of Zootopia, and the key characters, including a rabbit police officer and a red fox who is a small-time con artist.

Directed by Byron Howard, the animated comedy pairs unlikely pals, as a fast-talking fox and a self-righteous rabbit both become targets of a conspiracy, and then are forced to team up.

The film is produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios, and starring the voices of Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman.

'Zootopia' is set to open in the mainland in 2D, 3D, IMAX 3D, and giant screen format.
