Chinese-Canadian actor Kris Wu was honored as Best Actor at China Film Week, an event that's allied with the ongoing Tokyo International Film Festival.

The 25-year-old pop star expressed his excitement while receiving the Gold Crane Award.
"Firstly, I want to thank the organizer for giving me such a great honor, as an appreciation of my performance. I'm very happy to attend the Tokyo International Film Festival, and China Film Week. This is a great opportunity of enhancing cross-border cultural exchanges. I hope in the near future, more Chinese films can be screened around the world, thus to reach a wider range of audiences."
Wu won the title for his performance in Sweet Sixteen.
Actress Jiang Qinqin has been crowned Best Actress for her role in A Fool.
Renowned filmmaker Guan Hu won the Best director award for the action comedy film Mr. Six.
