The Hungarian language version of Chinese President Xi Jinping's book "Xi Jinping: The Governance of China" was launched in the Hungary capital Budapest on April 24. Liu Qibao, head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Matrai Marta, first officer of the Hungarian National Assembly, jointly attended the launch ceremony and delivered speeches.

Liu said that the book presents the new governing philosophy, ideas and strategies proposed by the CPC Central Committee with Xi Jinping as the core since the 18th National Congress of the CPC. The book has responded to many major theoretical and practical questions about governing the Party and the country in the new era. The Hungarian language version of the book will become a new window for the Hungarian people to learn about China and deepen their understanding about China's development ideals and path and domestic and foreign policies.

Matrai Marta said that the Hungarian version will help Hungarian people to better understand China and Chinese people and promote the development of political, economic and cultural relationships between Hungary and China.

The Hungarian edition is the 19th foreign language version of the book "Xi Jinping: The Governance of China." It is also the first of its kind published in Central and Eastern Europe.
