Global sales of "Xi Jinping: The Governance of China" have exceeded 4 million copies, with 400,000 being bought outside of China -- more than any since Deng Xiaoping's reforms. This is the news according to Lu Cairong, vice president of China International Publishing Group (CIPG) at the Opening of the 2015 London Book Fair.

The multi-language translation of "Xi Jinping: The Governance of China" was unveiled on April 14, at the London Book Fair and gained the attention of international book traders, readers, and the local media as well as forming the focal point for CIPG. Lu said that the continued global popularity of the book will certainly help the international reader understand China's developments and changes.

Since the international edition's release at the Frankfurt Book Fair in 2014, "Xi Jinping: The Governance of China" has received widespread attention. Political leaders and specialists on China have written reviews and articles evaluating the book. The international media, including popular Western press, have written over 400 articles promoting and discussing the book. With widespread international attention, sales of the book continue to increase.

The publishers of "Xi Jinping: The Governance of China" are at this year's London Book Fair exhibiting over 500 books on topics ranging from ancient to modern Chinese culture, Chinese literature, language, and Chinese medicine and many more. The selection represents China's high level of foreign language book publishing.
