Wei Wei (魏微), born in 1970, is a famous Chinese female novelist who has won a number of important literature awards including the third Lu Xun Literature Prize, the second Chinese Fiction Academy Award, the tenth Chuang Chung-Wen Literature Awards and the Outstanding Writers Award at the ninth Chinese Literature Media Awards.

Her novels made the Ranking of Best Chinese Novels in 1998, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2006 and 2010. Some of her novels have been translated into English, French, Japanese, Korean, Italian, Russian, Polish and Greek. Wei has published more than ten books, including "Sister and Brother" and "Fleeting Time". She is currently a member of the Guangdong Writers Association and a national top level writer.
