Qiao Ye (乔叶) is a member of the Chinese Writers Association, a professional writer with the Henan Literary Academy and deputy chairman of the Henan Writers Association.

She has thus far published 12 essay collections, including "The angel was passing by," as well as 13 novels such as "Life goes by so slowly." She has also published several pieces, totaling at some 800,000 words, for literary magazines like People’s Literature and the bimonthly Harvest.

She has won the Zhuang Zhongwen Literary Award, the Chinese Literature Media Award, the Hundreds Flowers Award, the October Literary Award, the Beijing Literary Award, the People’s Literary Award, the Chinese Annual Novel Award, the first Jinxiu Literary Award and the first Yu Dafu Novel Award.

Her novel "Life goes by so slowly" won her the fifth Lu Xun Literary Award.
