Dongyue Temple Fair
Venue: Dongyue Temple, Chaoyang District, Beijing

Dongyue is one of the oldest temple fairs in Beijing, dating back to the Yuan Dynasty (1279 to 1368 AD) and reaching its heyday during the Ming and Qing dynasties. The culture of fu (Good Fortune) has been the essence of this temple fair for three centuries. Activities include an exhibition about fu culture, folk-custom shows and sports competitions. Various artworks, books and snacks are also on offer.
