The long-term goal of China's monetary policy is to control inflation, maintain economic growth and a high employment rate, and keep a balance in international payments, Zhou Xiaochuan, China's central bank governor, said Friday in Beijing.
Zhou made the remarks at a seminar on reforming the global financial order at the 16th World Congress of the International Economic Association (IEA) held in Tsinghua University.
